Initial Ideas and Mood Board

Ideas:

We had plenty ideas for a Depict Movie, we'd realised that most of the films had deep undertones talking about society and the world around us. We found a quote whilst looking for inspiration that said, 'Lost in a Sea of Nameless Faces'. We felt that it had a lot of meaning behind it, it showed what loneliness was like and how our society is constantly shifting and changing so we decided to reflect that. Very quickly we knew we'd wanted masks, so we could hide faces and thus make them 'nameless'. We wanted to show how society follows people, it follows every change they make and that can be hard. We knew from this that our end result was to get everyone to remove their masks and show us who they were and it could tell us a little about how individual we all are.

A connotation of hiding away from being yourself.
